Penetapan Kadar Vitamin C Cara Iodimetri

Dasar : Kadar vitamin C yang ditetapkan secara iodimetri menggunakan iod sebagai penitar. Vitamin C dalam Contoh bersifat reduktor kuat akan dioksidasikan oleh I2 dalam suasana asam dan I2 tereduksi menjadi ion iodide. Indikator yang digunakan adalah kanji dengan titik akhir biru.

Cara Kerja :

1)    Ditimbang contoh sejumlah Y gram kedalam Erlenmeyer asah.

2)   Dilarutkan dengan air dan ditambahkan 25 ml H2SO4 10 %.

3)   Dititrasi dengan I2 0,05 M dengan indicator kanji hingga titik akhir berwarna biru.

Kadar Vit. C = Vp X Mp X BE Vit. C X 100 X Bobot rata X100%

Dasar : Vitamin c bersifat pereduktor dan dapat dititar langsung oleh I2 dalam suasana asam , dengan indikator kanji dengan titik akhir berwarna biru.

Cara Kerja:

  1. Ditimbang  ± 7 gram contoh
  2. Dimasukkan kedalam labu ukur 250 ml. Dilarutkan dengan air dihimpitkan.
  3. Dipipet 25 ml dan dimasukkan kedalam erlenmeyer 500 ml .
  4. Ditambahkan asam meta Phophoric 3 %, dan indikator kanji 3 ml.
  5. Dititar hingga titik akhir berwarna biru.
  6. Dilakukan penitaran setiap jam.

Kadar Vitamin C = 138,806 X H X Vp X factor Iodin

Dasar : Natrium Askorbat bersifat reduktor dan dapat dititar langsung     oleh I2 dalam suasana asam ,dengan indikator kanji .

Cara Kerja:

  1. Ditimbang contoh ± 7 gram.
  2. Dimasukkan ke dalam labu ukur 250 ml, dilarutkan dengan air dan diimpitkan hingga tanda tera.
  3. Dipipet 25 ml dan dimasukkan ke dalam erlenmeyer 500 ml.
  4. Ditambahkan 25 ml asam sulfat 2 N, dan indikator kanji 3 ml.
  5. Dititar hingga dicapai titik akhir berwarna biru.
  6. Penitaran dilakukan setiap jam.

Kadar Natrium Askorbat = 9,905 x fp x Vp x faktor iodin x 100%

How it Works:

1. ± 7 grams of sample is weighed
2. Entered into 250 ml measuring flask. Dihimpitkan reconstituted with water.
3. Dipipet 25 ml and 500 ml erlenmeyer inserted.
4. Added meta Phophoric acid 3%, and 3 ml of starch indicator.
5. Dititar until a blue endpoint.
6. Penitaran performed every hour.

f. Pumpkin Spray

How it Works:

1. ± 7 grams of sample is weighed.
2. Entered into a 250 ml measuring flask, diluted with water and diimpitkan to sign tera.
3. Dipipet 25 ml and put into a 500 ml erlenmeyer.
4. Added 25 ml of 2 N sulfuric acid, and 3 ml of starch indicator.
5. Dititar until there is a blue endpoint.
6. Penitaran done every hour.

Calculation:

Ascorbic Sodium Concentration = 9.905 x fp x Vp x factor x 100% iodine
